Why doesn't my church teach end-time prophecy?
EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE: My Church Doesn't Teach Prophecy
http://gracethrufaith.com/ask-a-bible-teacher/my-church-doesnt-teach-prophecy/
In 7 years I have never heard 1 sermon in regards to the book of Revelation in the Bible or any other end times events as spoken in the Bible. I have heard that since we will not be here for the tribulation that we do not need to worry about the tribulation so why teach about the tribulation if we are not going to be here? That does not make sense to me. Am I way off here? If the bible is approximately 33% prophecy, filled and unfilled, shouldn’t 33% of the sermons be about prophecy, filled and unfilled?
How do I get a grasp of end-time events?
EXCERPT FROM SHERRY'S RADIO SHOW 12-03-2007

You can read the article I have been going through tonight called, “The Second Coming of Christ and The Battle of Armageddon”. It’s been years since I went through this material, but I felt led to go through it tonight. The closer we get to end time events coming down, you realize that most people don’t even know what’s coming. They only know what the churches have told them. When you get down to it, most churches aren’t even teaching about end time events. It’s really important for you to get out the Book of Revelation and just start reading. Start reading it until you know it. That might take 100 times, maybe 200. If you read Revelation, Isaiah, Daniel and Joel, you’ll start to get a grasp of end time events. You don’t have to know it perfectly, but at least get a timeline of events down. When Sananda arrives on Earth as Jesus, all the churches have switched from a pre-tribulation rapture to “kingdom” theology now. I have an article, “The Kingdom of God.”
You’re going to get into dominion theory more because once Sananda arrives, he’ll have the scars in his hands and be a great healer. Everyone will love him and worship him as “Jesus.” How would he explain why there is no rapture? He’ll just say, “You were wrong about the rapture. Lets just build my kingdom on Earth.” This is how they will bring in the New World Order - one world government and religion by building “God's kingdom” on Earth. If you want to join his kingdom on Earth, you have to get his mark, stamp, tattoo, chip or whatever it is, in or on your right hand or forehead. I think there will be a switch, a bigger push toward that.
Kingdom theology isn’t all wrong. There is a lot of things about it that are true, that Christians have never grasped. The thing is like I said at the beginning of the show, The Lord isn’t coming to heal a failing economic system, or a dying ecosystem. When He comes, He is coming to destroy the wicked off the face of the Earth. You’re going to see Him in the clouds with His angels at the Battle of Armageddon. He’s not going to come down in a Hollywood production show in Jerusalem with a bunch of angels singing hymns to establish a one world government and religion here on Earth.
Satan is trying to mimic Bible prophecy. He tries to mimic everything that The Lord will do when he is on Earth. Unless people are informed of the events that Satan will mimic, they will fall for it and miss the legitimate Second Coming. He’s also going to do away with the wicked people. When Sananda and Maitreya are here, they have big plans for the wicked. Instead of an instant gathering of the wicked and destroying them as the Lord's angels will, they will have to use NATO forces, FEMA and Blackwater soldiers and throw countries into martial law, and do round ups. The wicked to them are the Christians, the ones who refuse to worship Satan as god and refuse to worship this “Jesus Christ” on Earth, because that is Satan’s General Sananda. Anyone who disagrees with the New World Order will be considered the wicked.
This is why it’s important when I tell you to get used to calling the Son of God by His real name, Yahushua.
I don’t know how to explain it any better. You can read the articles I have on my website.

Could there be only one way to God? Oprah doesn't think so...
EXCERPT FROM VIDEO: Oprah's Religion

Oprah: There's this wonderful book called Ishmael by Daniel Quinn which talks, which, which is...anyway, it's a gorilla talking, but anyway. It talks about -- one of the points it brings out is one of the mistakes that human beings make is believing that there is only one way to live. And that we don't accept that there are diverse ways of being in the world. That there are millions of ways to be a human being...
Audience Member #1: Then how do you please God?
Oprah: ...and many ways... [holding up her hand to silence the speaker] no... [continuing] many paths to what YOU call God. And her path might be something else and when she gets there, she might call it "the light." But her loving and her kindness and her generosity brings her -- if it brings her to the same point that it brings you, then it doesn't matter whether she called it "God" along the way or not.
Audience Member #1: And I guess the danger that could be in that, I mean, it sounds great on the onset, but if we really look at both sides, I could be a person --
Oprah: There couldn't possibly be just one way!
Audience Member #2: What about Jesus?
Oprah: What about Jesus?...What ABOUT Jesus?
Audience Member #2: ...You say there isn't only one way. There IS one way and ONLY one way and that is through Jesus!
Oprah: There couldn't possibly be. There couldn't possibly be, with the millions of people in the world.
Audience Member #2: Because YOU say there isn't!
Oprah: There couldn't possibly be.
Audience Member #2: Because YOU say. YOU intellectualize it and say there isn't.
Oprah: Nooo!
Audience Member #2: If you don't believe that, you're all buying into the lie.

What is the sign of the end of the age?
EXCERPT FROM SHERRY'S ARTICLE: The Sign of the End of the Age
http://www.sherryshriner.com/sherry/apostasy.htm
When the disciples asked Jesus what would characterize the last days just prior to His return, He explained that it would be a time of the greatest religious deception the world had ever seen. He said sound doctrine would be despised and wondered if there would be any faith left whatsoever when He returned. He gave His disciples a solemn warning: "Take heed that no man deceive you" (Matt. 24:4,5,11,24).
It is already dominant in these days that these who are trafficking with evil spirits and preaching doctrines of devils leading the sheep astray are calling themselves Christians and leading our churches.
...
The sad truth is, many Christians today can't even recognize the heresies within the church and the widespread departure from Biblical faith. They allow themselves to be led astray into doctrines of devils. Instead of reading the Scriptures for themselves and putting their faith in the Words of Jesus they are putting their trust and faith in man. They are letting themselves become spiritually blinded by the apostates whose doctrines expose them for what they are - tools of Satan and the enemies of Christ. And they can't see these are the ones the Lord warned us of because they become blinded by the charming and feel good theologies they preach.
Apostasy is basically an attitude of unbelief. A defection from the truth. It characterizes a deliberate abandonment of a formerly professed position or view. It is a rejection or turning away from a former allegiance. Or when an individual no longer or refuses to believe in a doctrinal truth of the Bible. Or when a pastor no longer accepts the fundamental truths of Yahushua and leads his congregation away from Biblical teachings. The fundamental truths of Yahushua to deny His ministry, birth, life, death, resurrection and teachings.
Many are redefining Biblical truths such as the Second Coming of Christ as a crises in a Christian's experience or the death of a believer. The word "Christ" becomes an office or God that is everything and everybody. Miracles and parables are touted as fairytales or teachings of great wisdom (the same wisdom one can receive from an ascended master) and the Book of Revelation is merely fictional, therefore meaningless. They ignore the Sabbath on the seventh day and celebrate Christmas trees and Easter bunnies rather than honor the Sabbath and His feasts. Even yet, Churchianity today is divided. Half worships a Jewess, Mary, the other half worships an Edomite Jew self-appointed apostle named Paul.
In fact, in the past 20 years our churches have been busy establishing councils to determine not the correct interpretations of the Bible but what should be left in or taken out despite Peter's warning that it would be better for these false teachers if they hadn't been born than to turn from Yahweh (2 Peter 2:21).
Scripture indicates that a gradual progression of apostasy will infiltrate the church as the church age comes to a close but that it's final form will not reach its peak until the first fruits rapture of the true believers takes place. In other words, apostasy will characterize the entire church age, but as the church age progresses we will be able to notice an alarming increase of it indicating that the rapture is near.
Shut up and let other people tell me what the Bible says!?
EXCERPT FROM RADIO SHOW: Keeping It Real with Reverend Al Sharpton
(I heard this myself while listening to Sharpton's show one day. Almost an exact quote from him. --Webmaster)
You're doing something dangerous -- reading the Bible for yourself. You need to shut up and let people tell you what the Bible says, not read it for yourself.
Is the Lord pulling people out of the churches?
EXCERPT FROM SHERRY'S BLOG 3-13-2009
http://sherryshriner.blogspot.com/2009/03/sherry-talk-radio-3-09-09.html
The Lord has always told us to watch. Watch. Watch for the end times. Watch for the last days. So we need to be watchers.
So many people...you talk to the people who are attending churches....I left the churches years ago. He pulled me out of them. You ask them, “Well, are they teaching prophecy?” My favorite subject when I was little. When I would go to church, if they weren’t talking prophecy I wasn’t listening. I’m amazed at how many people just have no idea; they’re clueless about Bible prophecy because the churches aren’t teaching it. That’s probably the number one reason the Lord is just pulling people out of them. You seem to learn more when you get out of man’s organizations and religions and you just start seeking Him directly.. He can lead you and guide you into the things you need to learn. So you learn more being on your own then just going to these man-made religions.
If Yahushua isn't Lord of all, He isn't Lord at all.
EXCERPT FROM SHERRY'S ARTICLE: The New Age Plan to Defeat Christianity
http://www.backtoyahweh.com/sherry/newage.html
Prophetic scholars know that the world must be primed both religiously and politically to embrace the Antichrist when he suddenly rises to power. If "Christianity" is to be the official world religion (which must be the case if the Antichrist claims to be Christ), then it must be blasphemous enough to accommodate all of the world's faiths. Don't be deceived, this is not true Christianity preaching a message of salvation but a perverted form that is already invading our churches today with little resistance from its members. In fact the message of the cross is being rejected! And that was the biggest sign of apostasy and the end of the age as given to us by Yahushua and His apostles (see my article on The Sign of the End of the Age).
In fact, there is no stopping the exploding and relentless Ecumenical Movement led by mostly liberal, unbelieving leaders who have secretly taken masonic and Jesuit oaths, and who serve as pastors today such as Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Robert Schuller etc.(Most of TBN). Many of our church leaders are spearheading the Antichrist's arrival by accomplishing exactly what he needs - a unification of all religions and they are succeeding through rallying cries of "peace and unity." Even prophetic self acclaimed guru Jack Van Impe himself has a Catholic and world unity agenda for the Ecumenicals.
Though their cry for unity is tempting, it denies the true Christ and is a unification that will ultimately lead to destruction. Many of our evangelical leaders are promoting ecumenicism alongside the rest of the world who neither accept the literal interpretation of the Bible or take heed to God's warnings of compromising our faith for doctrines of devils and rejecting its truths. Unity is certainly something we should strive for among mankind, but never at the expense of Biblical truths and doctrines. The death, burial, and resurrection of our Jesus would make any kind of union with the world's religions both impossible and abominable which would lower our Lord's status to the same level as Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius among others recognizing them all as "great leaders."
It is what they don't tell their church congregations that make these ecumenical leaders among our churches all the more dangerous. Perhaps, these leaders are unknowingly being deceived themselves, but a union with the world's religions will be a crushing stumbling block to the true Christian church who will no longer be able to preach the Word of God as openly as we can now. In a tolerant world all is one and one is all. To criticize a religion for the deception it is would be intolerable. To preach your views against someone elses would be considered a crime against the establishment. In a tolerant ecumenical world Jesus Christ would just be another great leader. His ministry would be no greater than a gurus. The Bible would be the same as an encyclopedia of historic events. Is this really what our churches want? Yet is prophesied that it will come to pass. Every Christian must decide what stand he will take.
The Bible teaches that if Jesus isn't Lord of all, He isn't Lord at all. Yet those who oppose this ecumenicism are labeled as "narrow minded bigots" for uncompromising the truth that Scripture warns we are not to sell at any price (Prov. 23:23) or barter for a delusional peace and unification. Many Christians are being deceived by the New Agers commitment to love and peace. They can't believe that anyone who is committed to love and peace could actually be an instrument of Satan. Precisely why Jesus warned us that Satan can pose as an angel of light and transform his demons into ministers of righteousness (perceived). Don't be deceived. He is shining his light through many of our churches today.
